The Environmental Action Groups Association (EAGA) is a dedicated non-profit organisation founded in 2011 in Zimbabwe. We aim to empower communities to create sustainable and climate-resilient environments. Through a combination of grassroots partnerships, policy advocacy, and hands-on initiatives, EAGA has worked to ensure environmental justice and sustainable development for over a decade.
EAGA is committed to fostering good corporate governance among Environmental Action Groups (EAGs) in Zimbabwe. We coordinate, monitor, and evaluate community programmes focused on the sustainable utilisation of natural resources. Our mission is to empower individuals, schools, and communities with the knowledge and resources they need to practice sound environmental management and adapt to climate change challenges.
To be a leading force in fostering sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and climate resilience in Zimbabwe, empowering communities to thrive in harmony with nature for generations to come. We envision a future where every individual actively contributes to the conservation of natural resources, embraces sustainable practices, and advocates for environmental justice.
