Strengthening Environmental Legislation Implementation in Zimbabwe

A flagship initiative aimed at raising community awareness about the Environmental Management Act (EMA) and encouraging local action for environmental governance.

Key Activities:
  • Workshops in Mbare and Epworth.
  • Formation of an environmental watchdog group in Epworth.
  • Distribution of 200 summary leaflets and 100 T-shirts.

  • Over 170 community members trained, including women, men, and youth.

Dzivarasekwa River Conservation Project

A large-scale conservation initiative to restore the Dzivarasekwa River ecosystem and promote sustainable livelihoods for the surrounding community.
